Our Action Plan

Our Plan

The Camden Food Partnership action plan for 23/24 is a set of actions to ensure the whole network is striving towards the Camden Food Mission. A set of 8 core objectives coincide with relevant actions for the partnership, ensuring inclusive, resilient, wrap-around support for local residents.

There is a broader plan that was developed in 2020 that sets out the Camden Food Partnership's priorities over the next 5 years. This document is currently being revised and will be available soon.

Organisations are supported to signpost and refer when people access their food services.

Volunteers are valued and recognised when they are involved in food support services.

Opportunities to have food and wraparound support in the same location/organisation are maximised and this is communicated at the local level.

Achieve a healthy, balanced food offer, recognising the challenges of using surplus food provision.

Optimise the uptake of existing services that focus on nutrition and food for education and connection, such as growing services.

Increased access to communal cooking spaces; supporting residents to connect and access other services locally.

Continue to strengthen sharing between voluntary and community sector partners.

Improved coordination of and communication about food distribution - at a borough and hyper local level.
